Chicha Morada or "purple cider" is the national non-alcoholic beverage of Perú. Made traditionally from dried purple corn, fruits, sugar and spices, it has a refreshing punch-like flavor and aroma very reminiscent of the "Plazas" in Perú.

Our recipe calls for dried purple corn kernels and we pride ourselves to use only Peruvian to give color to our cordial. To enhance its mellow flavor, we add apple and pineapple juice and to boost its characteristic aroma we toast cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice berries with hints of lime oil.
